Refund Policy for Recreation Programs - Refunds will be issued if you cancel registration 14 days before the start date of a program. All programs are subject to cancellation by the MP Recreation Commission if minimum participation levels are not met. Registered participants will be notified 7 days before the start date of a program if cancellation is necessary and fees will be refunded. To receive a refund, a voucher must be completed at the MP Community Center during business hours, Mon-Thur 9am-4pm.

MP Basketball Assoc (MPBA) –Sign Ups 9/12 until 10/12! - The MPBA is now accepting basketball sign-ups for K-8th grade for the Recreational program, 4th-8th for Boy's Travel, and 5th-8th for Girl's Travel. Visit the www.morrisplainssports.com website. MPBA Basketball Sign-ups begin on 9/12, end on 10/12, 2008. Early Bird rates ($45) available from 9/12-10/5 (Save Money!). "Regular" rates ($60) from 10/6-10/12. ****Sign-ups end 10/12**** Don't forget to update your Family Profile.

Bonfire Night! - The annual Morris Plains Bonfire is Saturday, October 25th from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Community Pool parking lot due to wet weather. Light refreshments are available. Bring your lawn chair and enjoy the gathering. No alcohol is allowed.

Annual Halloween Parade and Party - Friday, October 31 at 4 p.m. all ghosts and goblins are invited to join in the Annual Halloween Parade sponsored by Morris Plains Recreation and the Morris Plains Fire Department. The fire truck leads the way from Roberts’ Garden to Simon’s Park. Refreshments and prizes!
